Technology is woven into almost every part of life — work, friendships, learning, even worship. Used well, it can connect and empower us. Used carelessly, it can drain our time, peace, and focus. As Christians, we can approach technology with wisdom and purpose, letting it serve us instead of control us.
Set Healthy Boundaries
Decide how and when you use your phone, social media, and other devices. Turn off non-essential notifications, set screen time limits, and keep tech out of moments meant for rest or connection.
Use Tech to Grow Spiritually
Technology can support faith when used intentionally. Follow Bible reading plans, listen to worship or sermons, and join online groups that encourage growth. Choose tools that build you up instead of distract you.
Protect Your Mind and Heart
Be mindful of what you consume. Curate your feeds, avoid harmful content, and step away when something drains peace or sparks comparison. Your mental and spiritual health matter.
Stay Present in Real Life
Technology should enhance relationships, not replace them. When spending time with family and friends, put the phone down. Real conversations and shared experiences are irreplaceable.
Reflect
Is technology adding to your peace or stealing it? Where might you set a healthier boundary or make a purposeful shift this week?
Call to Action
Pray today:
Lord, help me use technology with wisdom. Teach me to make choices that honor You and bring peace, not distraction.
